Digital services, not physical goods
We provide website design and web development services. Nothing is shipped. There are no physical products, no postage, no delivery charges and no courier tracking. Everything is delivered electronically, by email, by a shared file transfer, by access to a code repository, or by deploying directly to the hosting or platform account you nominate.
Because each project is bespoke, delivery is not instant. A project is fulfilled progressively over the stages described below and completes on final handover.
What you receive
The exact deliverables for your project are the ones listed in your accepted quotation. Depending on the services ordered, they typically include:
- Design files or design previews for the agreed pages and screen sizes.
- The built website or landing page, implemented in clean front-end code.
- Deployment of the site to your hosting, domain or platform account, where that is in scope.
- The custom source files produced for your project.
- Basic handover notes explaining how to update the content you are expected to manage.
Anything not listed in the quotation is not part of the delivery. Third-party items — domain names, hosting plans, premium plugins, licensed fonts and stock assets — are only included when the quotation says so explicitly, and they remain subject to the licences and subscriptions of their providers after handover.
How a project is fulfilled
Projects run through the same sequence, and you see the work at each stage rather than only at the end:
- Discover — we confirm the scope, pages, content and goals, and agree the quotation in writing.
- Design — you receive the layouts for review and give consolidated feedback.
- Build — the approved design is developed, and you get a private preview link to follow progress.
- Review and refine — the agreed revision rounds are carried out, and the site is tested across browsers and screen sizes.
- Launch and handover — the site is deployed and the files and access are transferred to you.
Delivery timelines
Your quotation states the estimated timeline for your project. As a general indication, a landing page is usually a matter of days, a standard multi-page website a few weeks, and a larger or e-commerce build longer.
These are estimates made in good faith, not guaranteed dates. They assume the scope stays as agreed and that content, feedback and approvals arrive when planned. Change requests and delays in your input move the date accordingly, and we confirm any revised timeline in writing.
Final handover and transfer
Final files, source files and full transfer of the finished work take place once all invoices for the project have been paid, as set out in our Terms and Conditions. Ownership of the delivered design and the custom front-end code passes to you on that final payment.
Handover is made to the email address or accounts you nominate, and we confirm in writing what was transferred and when. If you need the work delivered into a specific repository, hosting account or platform, tell us before launch so access can be arranged.
What we need from you
Delivery depends on receiving from you, within the agreed timeframe: the text, images and brand assets for the site; confirmation that you hold the rights to everything you supply; any access we need to hosting, domains or third-party accounts; and consolidated feedback and approval at each stage.
If these are outstanding, the project pauses at that stage and the delivery date moves. We will tell you in writing when that happens and what is blocking it.
Acceptance and defect correction
On handover you have a reasonable period to check the delivered work against the agreed scope. If something is missing, broken or does not match what was agreed, report it in writing and we correct it at no additional cost.
Changes that go beyond the agreed scope — new pages, new features, further design directions or extra revision rounds — are quoted separately as a change request before any work is done.
After delivery
Unless a maintenance agreement is in place, the project ends on delivery and acceptance. Later content changes, new features, updates required by third-party platforms, and problems caused by modifications made by you or another provider are billable, hourly or under an agreed maintenance plan.
You remain responsible for keeping any hosting, domain and third-party subscriptions active after handover. A website cannot stay online without them.
Delays and events outside our control
If delivery is delayed for a reason on our side, we tell you as soon as we know, explain why and give a revised date. If we cannot deliver the agreed scope at all, the cancellation and refund rules in our Refund & Cancellation Policy apply.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages, failures or policy changes at third-party hosting providers and platforms.
